How to calcualte averages across mutliple items (rows) with workflows RRS feed

  • I've been Googling all morning about this and cannot get a break, so here goes:

    I have a SharePoint list "Restaurants" and I have a SharePoint list called "Restaurant Reviews".  The Restaurants list contains a column called Rating.  The Restaurant Reviews list contains a column called Overall Rating.

    When a user addes a new Review they indicate the restaurant (from the Restaurants list) that they wish to review and give it an Overall Rating (1-5).  I would like to setup a workflow that would then kick off (on a added or changed review) that will look at all reviews for that restaurant and calculate an average and populate that average into the Rating column for that restaurant in the Restaurants list.

    Please let me know if you can help.  I'm using WSS 3.0 with SharePoint Designer.  I was not sure which group to post this in.
