Is there any way to check the client's versions in Lync 2010 RRS feed

  • Question

  • In OCS we can see the client details from the client summary report. How can I know which user's in Lync is using which client? Is their any cmdlet available? I basically wanted to which user is using which client.

  • This unsupported app will do exactly what you are looking for:

    http://www.stumper66.com/software/lync.html

You can also get the version number from SIP traces and the Monitoring server database by looking at any Call Detila Records.  But for a report-style list this app is great.

  • I don't believe this is available in Lync even using the Monitoring server. However if you have the Monitoring server deployed there are standard reports such as Device Report and IP Phone Inventory Report that might be of interest. You could also develop a custom report.
