Sharing greyed out RRS feed

  • Question

  • If a standard CAL user starts a Meet Now meeting with a enterprise CAL user, should the enterprise user be able to share his desktop if he is a presenter?  We are finding that if this scenario occurs, then desktop sharing is greyed out when the enterprise cal user tries to share his desktop.  Now if the enterprise CAL user starts the Meet Now meeting with the standard CAL user, then he is able to share his desktop.  Is this how it should be?

  • Check the features provided by Lync Server 2010 Standard CAL and Lync Server 2010 Enterprise CAL.

Lync Server 2010 Standard CAL doesn’t support Initiating ad-hoc application Sharing (P2P or multi-party)
