Server could not authenticate you. Please try again


  • I have installed Persistent Chat on a separated server in an Enterprise Lync 2013 Pool, I can see the created rooms through Lync Powershell, but if I tried to create a room through the Lync client, it transfers me to the webpage https://<Pool Name>/PersistentChat/RM/?clientlang=en-US and asks for authentication. Everytime I enter my username and password (Domain\Username or username@domain) I got the same error which is "Server could not authenticate you. Please try again."

    I need to solve this issue.

  • I found out that the issue is with my IE10, I am using Windows 8 with IE10, the page loaded successfully after I enabled the Compatibility View for the website, but when I tried to open it with another browser it worked perfectly. Tried also from the Lync servers which also have IE10 and also worked perfectly.

    I think the problem is because my computer is out of the domain, but isn't there a way to fix this issue without the compatibility view?
