Error Sending Dial Tone (DTMF) to Workflow or UCMA IVR


  • Dear all,

    I have one issue where when I make a call to Workflow or UCMA application I am unable to send DTMF. The Keypad is hidden and there is an error box stating, "There was an error sending Dial Tone".

    I will be grateful to get some guidance to get rid off this issue.

    Did you mean when you make a call to response group you can’t send DTMF?

    Did this issue appear on the specific user or all users had this issue?

    If you mean that you can’t send DTMF with response group, please check the configuration of response group, the following blog is for your reference.

    If the specific user had this issue, please use another normal SFB client test if there is the same issue, or you could compare user attributes in AD between the affected user and other normal users.

  • If there are any third party plug-Ins installed on the Front End, kindly remove or disable them and try!
