Lync - Personal Note clearing every day? RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I've noticed that, as of late, my personal note reverts back to "What's happening today?" when I boot up my computer each day. I was wondering if there was a setting or something I'm missing?

    It was working not too long ago, but I'm not sure what else may have changed. I'm running Lync Basic 2013 on a Windows 7 computer if that helps.

    Can you please close the client and delete the lync  profile located here;

    %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync\

    Then see if you experience the same behaviour.

    If the problem persists;
    - does this problem also occur if you are using another client / machine?
    - do you need to restart the machine to have this occur, or does signing out and back into lync  also reset it?
    - is the issue affecting anyone else, and can someone else use your machine without the same problem?
    - ensure you have the latest available client updates installed.

    There may be an issue with your user data on the server depending on your answers to the above.

    Did you solve the issue with the help of Ben provided?

    Did the issue happen only for you or for multiple users?

    Please try to download the latest version for Lync server and client on Microsoft Website and test again:
