  • Hi James,

By my research, if there are no any effects for your business, this error could be ignored. During a joining procedure the system will try to provide all available content to the device which is joining, however sometimes the meeting contains such a contents which not every device can visualize or accept. Such as an analog phone are not able to accept video/application sharing, etc. This event will trigger the event id 52508. Error message can be misleading, while it is not clearly mention which kind of local media is failing, also not mentioning that the connecting device is not capable to handle such a content.

  • Sounds to me like it's unable to connect a media session. Are people unable to connect to conferences?

  • Hi Jim,

Seems your observation is correct because no one reported any issue while joining conference. Dont you think this type of reporting will create more panic as it will never provide clear picture of the environment.
