Lync 2013 not saving conversation history while on VMWARE RRS feed

  • Question

  • My situation goes as follows:

I have a user using lync2013 and microsoft exchange 2010.  Here at the office we run everything off of VMWare.  When the user is logged into lync2013 on a separate windows machine and has conversations and closes them out, they DO SAVE to the conversations history folder. When the user is on VMWare doing the same exact thing, none of the conversations will save.  I looked everywhere to find a solution and can't figure this one out.

    Please help!

    Thank you!

  • Hi,

Please make sure the EWS show OK as Holger Bunkradt said above.

If the EWS status show normally. On VMWare Lync client, Options, Personal, make sure the value of the parameter "Personal information manager" set to "Microsoft Exchange or Microsoft Outlook". If not, set it and then test the issue again.
