Hi vden,
For Lync Server 2013, the reverse proxy provides remote access to the web components running on Front End Servers or Edge Servers. It includes web conferencing content(Whiteboards and PowerPoint File Uploads)The media traffic of desktop sharing are handled by Edge Audio/Video Service. Remote users, require Edge Server to handle Application Sharing sessions. The sessions run over the Secure Real-time Transport Protocol (SRTP) through the A/V Edge Server interface. See Determining External A/V Firewall and Port Requirements for more details.

Here is a great blog how to troubleshoot the desktop sharing issue.
You can refer to Scenario 1 that described External Lync clients are unable to share their Desktop or Applications with internal conference participants. Please double check the required ports.
Best regards,
Eric
