  • This is one of the features of Actiance's Vantage platform, the ability to log the Lync IM conversations and send them into Enteprise Vault.  In addition, we can also provide Security (A/V, Malware, SPIM), Management (Policy) for Lync including other modalities such as Group Chat.  We also support other Public/Private IM networks such as Live Messenger and Skype.  Feel free to take a look at our website or contact me for additional information.  We are a Microsoft Gold Parnter and Symantec Partner.

  • Hi, Clarkeyi,

Not be aware of EV. But give you a hint, if you’ve integrated Lync Server with Exchange Server, users can view a record of Lync conversations in the Outlook Conversation History folder.

  • Thanks Holger,

I wasn't too sure if this could be achieved.  Have you seen any documentation regarding this procedure.  I did have a look around but I cannot find anything?

    Thanks

  • If you already have EV you don't have to invest in Expensive Actiance Product. You can use EV Lync Connector 1.2 which supports the archiving of content from Lync Server 2010 and 2013, and from Skype for Business Server 2015 straight to EV. https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.000025139.
