  • Hi Sid4563,

What operation do you do before this problem appear?

Do you integrate Lync 2010 with Exchange?

If it is that, please check if the status of EWS is OK in Lync client.

For error “EWS not deployed”, please refer to the following ling for troubleshooting:

    https://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/6265.ews-not-deployed-on-the-lync-2010-configuration-tab.aspx

If it is not, you could clear your client cache and try again.

  • Hi Sharon

When I check the lync configuration ews is ok.

Now this happened to all users all of a sudden so client side troubleshooting for all users would not make sense.

No changes were done prior to this issues .

    Please suggest next steps.

  • Hi,

both external and internal EWS statuses are OK in the config info?

Also, can you open the published EWS url from a web browser on your computer? Can you see any errors there? Are you the admin of the Exchange system also? I suspect something has been changed in the Exchange config recently and that's why all of the clients are affected.

  • Hi Sid4563,

Please check the value of CalendarStatePublicationInterval, it will control the time of Lync waiting before retrieving calendar information from Microsoft Outlook and adding this data to your presence information.

For example, to set the CalendarStatePublicationInterval to 10 minutes (600 seconds) use this syntax:

    Set-CsClientPolicy -CalendarStatePublicationInterval 600

For more details, please refer to: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/skype/set-csclientpolicy?view=skype-ps
