Calls fail immediately on mobile device RRS feed

  • In a new Mobility configuration, users are unable to place any calls from the app on their mobile device.  Users can send IMs to one another, but when they attempt to place a call it fails immediately.

    SIP/2.0 403 Forbidden - ms-diagnostics: 12004;reason="The user is not authorized to call the specified number.";source="Lync.sub.domain.org";appName="OutboundRouting"

    SIP/2.0 481 Call Leg Does Not Exist - ms-diagnostics: 2;reason="See response code and reason phrase";HRESULT="0xC3E93C09(PE_E_TRANSACTION_DOES_NOT_EXIST)";source="Lync.sub.domain.org"

    SIP/2.0 503 Service unavailable - ms-diagnostics: 2019;reason="Report error service is not available";source="Lync.sub.domain.org"

  • It looks like, you have to check you server configuration. Are the users allowed to use the Lync edge server?

    The second one looks like a routing or firewall problem.

    Yes, users are allowed to use the Lync edge server.  Users are able to use the desktop Lync client both inside and outside of our network using the IM/share desktop/VOIP features.  It is only with mobility that this issue occurs.  I can post a more detailed log if necessary.

    It worked for me.
