Skype FB - Dial In PSTN problem RRS feed

  • Good afternoon,

    I have a strange problem in my DIAL IN service, the service is configured and working normally, it is possible to enter through the Skype Client from inside and outside the company.

    However, when calling the DIAL IN number via a PSTN call, a message is sent to the user: "Transfer.... Sorry, There is no extension available, please try again", on top of the original message, it overrides the default.

    Then when you wait for all the messages, and enter the name and press "#", again the message "Transfer.... Sorry, There is no extension available, please try again" is touched, and the user is transferred to the meeting normally.

    This problem is bad because to the end user it seems that there is an error in the system, but in fact it is just a message overlapping the default.

    Has anyone seen this problem? could help?

  • Hi Daniel,

    1. If you set your account in another computer, does the issue persist?

    2. Do other users in your organization have the same problem?

    Based in your description , will you get twice messages from the system? Or you wait for all the messages, and enter the name and press "#",this funciton is normal?(once in this system)

  • Hi Leon,

    In internal organization this problem dosen't ocur. All works perfect.

    Is only when the external user call from Dialin PSTN Number, press the conference number...

    I checked all settings, the Skype Server is up top date, but the problem persists.
