    For the past month IE9 fails several times a day. The message received, "Windows Live is not respoding. I must reboot to correct the problem. Please halp.

    You can go to your control panel, and click on uninstall a program or programs and features,

    Scroll to the bottom of the list and right click, windows live essentials 2011, and select uninstall or change,

    The next popup windows will offer a fix program option, click on fix all.
