Keyboard response rate in the registry - What does the "flag" setting do? RRS feed

    Currently I am trying to increase my response rate of the keyboard, I have set it up to be:

    AutoRepeatDelay - 250

    AutoRepeatRate - 6

    Flags - 27

    However, occasionally when using the CTRL and SHIFT keys it appears as if sticky keys turn on and cause my CTRL-SHIFT to be constantly on until pressed again.

    This does not happen if I set the flag to its default value - so the question is what does this value change?

    Hi,

    I found a simple description about flag key, please refer to David C. Rankin's comments in thread: Windows 10 Keyboard Repeat Rate/Delay Keeps Changing

    As his description, flag key related with filter key responds. So, please keep your flag key as default.
