Change default 20 second Exchange UM Voicemail redirection time? RRS feed

  • Hi,

    Can anyone advise on a method to change the default time that calls wait before redirecting to Voicemail (Exchange UM) for all users?

    Ideally, i'd like to do this with a global setting as opposed to updating Forwarding Rules for each user?  However, any and all advice is appreciated?

    Can you clarify your scenario?  Are you using an Auto Attendant that auto directs to Voicemail?  Or a ringing call that goes to Voicemail (e.g. Skype for Business)?

    EDIT:  I think I understand now.  Unfortunately, I haven't seen a solution for this yet.

  • If there's no global setting, then you might want to look into SEFAUTIL.  This thread shows something a little different but the final command shows how you can edit the forward/ring times for a user.
