Test-CsMcxP2PIM failed

    Question

  • Hello, when i try to verify my mobility deployment with Test-CsMcxP2PIM cmdlet, i get an error "Mobility Service invitation has functional error".

Not much of help, i would say. I was following the instrucstions from LS_Mobility word file "Planning, Deploying, and Monitoring Mobility". Any idea, what seems to be the problem?

    The whole message is:

  • Hi,PK2086,

I have seen one customer with the same error which is caused by stale entries of removed trust application server in Lync topology, would you please also check your topology builder to verify that there is no other stale entries?

If not the casue, please enable Lync logging tool and reproduce the issue to get more specificed sip logs.

    Regards,

  • There are no stale entries in trust application server.
Here i post the log from McxService. Could not attache the file, so please no hard feelings :(

Is there a way to get a remote session from Lync support people to my lync environment?

  • Hi PK2086,

I am having the same problem here at my end. The odd things is that some of my devices (iPad) can connect but Windows Phone cannot while both being on the Internal Network.

Any idea about the resolution of this?

    That would be great!

    Thanks.

  • well, it works by me now ... all i needed was a root certificate from my CA, installed on Windows Phone 7. Now mobility works.

But the problem with Test-CSMcxP2PIM is still present. So teoretically it should not work, but in practice it works :)

I advise you to read this topic

  • Hello,

I encountered the same issue with the command Test-CsMcxP2PIM. After analyzing the SIP trace, I found that one of my test user connected with the status “do not disturb” . Changing the status of this user to busy or available solved the problem and the test command was run successfully.
