I recently broke my phone which had my authenticator app installed on it. The phone was completely dead so no way of removing the app etc. However, I have now got a new phone and installed the authenticator app on it and can use this to sign
into M365 for my organisation.
However, I am also a member of a team in Microsoft Teams that is part of a different organisation. Whenever I try to view this team I am prompted to accept the notification on Authenticator but I never get anything through on my new phone. I
assume the notification is still attempting to be sent to my old device?
I just wanted to check, would this be something that needs to be resolved by the external organisation. As mentioned, everything seems be working internally but I wasn't sure if the issue with the second org is something we can fix or somethingthey
would need to do?
