Lync2010- "EnableExchangeDelegateSync" parameter is not set to True RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

we are using lync 2010 and exchange 2010. if we run Get-csclientpolicy  |fl identity, *delegate* then we found "EnableExchangeDelegateSync" parameter is not set to True. we have two policy and both policy having "EnableExchangeDelegateSync" parameter is set to false.

We want to set it true so please let me know the cmd for this and if we need to restart any servers after cmd run?

  • Hi Subham,

I think you could run this following command to set the value as true for all your client policies:
    Get-CsClientPolicy | Set-CsClientPolicy -EnableExchangeDelegateSync $true
If you want to change special policy, as Tyler said, you could run “Set-CsClientPolicy -Identity <policyID> -EnableExchangeDelegateSync $true”
<policyID> is your custom client policy identity.

After changing this, you do not need to restart service, you may check the CMS replication status by “Get-CsManagementStoreReplicationStatus”. Make sure “Up to date” status is true.

All replies

  • Set-CsClientPolicy Policyname -EnableExchangeDelegateSync $False

You will need to enter the identity of the policy where it says PolicyName.
