how to enable specific outside domain in Lync server 2013 RRS feed

  • Hello Team,

    in our organization Lync server 2013 installed.

    it is working only Local Network(not internet).

    how to enable or configure to specific Internet domain. (eg. google, other private domain users).

    kindly suggest me...

  • Hi Pradhap P,

    Based on your description, we suggest you deploy Edge server for your environment and then do federation with other organization, after the federation, you could IM and AV call with the federation users.

    Please refer to the following document to deploy Edge server, it's same to Lync server 2013

    In Edge server in deploy in same running Lync server or must in new server ?

  • Hi Pradhap,

    Because Edge server is the requirement component for external access, so we can’t add Edge server to the domain, we need to deploy Edge server in DMZ area, you have to use a new server, it's not supported to collected Edge sever with Lync FE server.
