Skype for Business for PSTN/ technical support RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

We are using Skype for Business in O365 E3 and now we want to integrate SfB with our IP Phone to call out/in landline and international.

As I found that, we need to have Add-on Phone System and Calling Plans, but these still not available in our country Cambodia.

Then, we are thinking about setup Skype for Business Server On-premise, is there any conflict with the exist SfB O365?

Could you explain how  we can use PlusCAL to integrate SfB with IP Phone?

  • you don't need calling plans if you are planning for using your existing IP telephony system if you have one or even use certified Skype for business Voice Gateway it called on premises PSTN connectivity.

you have two option to connect with on premises PSTN:

    1. Cloud connector (CCE) which all users a re homed on cloud and CCE installed on premises to connect to PSTN and all voice policies and routing done through cloud.
    2. Hybrid to deploy SFB on premises and integrate it with O365 and whether users are on cloud or on premises thay could have calling features but not same there is some minor limitation to cloud ones (ex call via work).

  • Hi Nha Nha,

For SFB online, some countries is not supported for PSTN calling. For these countries, you can deploy CCE, after this, SFB online users can use on premise enterprise voice function

I will share a document for your reference
