Unable to send IM to Offline user RRS feed

  • unable to send IM if user status is offline.

    PS C:\Users\sfbadmin> Get-CsImConfiguration | fl EnableOfflineIM


    EnableOfflineIm : True



    PS C:\Users\sfbadmin>


    PS C:\Users\sfbadmin> Get-CsClientPolicy -identity Tag:OfflineIM | fl EnableIMAutoArchiving


    EnableIMAutoArchiving : True



    PS C:\Users\sfbadmin>

    PS C:\Users\sfbadmin> Get-CsUser testmbx | fl *ClientPolicy*


    ClientPolicy : OfflineIM



    PS C:\Users\sfbadmin>

    but when I try to send IM while user is offline. Unable to sending IM.

    Does this issue always persist or after any operations?

    Does everyone meet this problem?

    What version is your Skype for Business client? Offline message is support for SFB 2016 Click-to-Run client.

    If you want to send offline message, you need to make sure that both of your client is SFB 2016.
