conference connection delay issue in Lync 2010 first time RRS feed

  • Hi I am using Lync 2010 client and trying to join a conference audio call from a meeting invite.

    it takes 30 seconds to join in call first time. but next time on the same day call joins in 5 seconds itself

    I dont know why? any idea why it is happening and how to narrow down this issue?

  • Hi Chandru.R,

     1. Please update to the latest version both for Lync server and client.

    You can download from Microsoft Website:

     2. Does the issue happen both from external or internal?

    Please check the system resources utilization (Specially Processor) when you feeling the delay. If you have Monitoring Server deployed you can do a diagnosis on the call to get an idea what actually happen.

     3. Please confirm if the issue happen when dial in user join the meeting.

    Is there Antivirus software on server? Here is a similar case for your reference:
