  • LYNC 2010 - is there a way to add another person to a conversation with history?

If you are having a conversation with someone and need another person added to the group, currently they can not see the history within the conversation without pasting the history in. Is there a where is share the additional conversation typed in before they joined?

    Thanks for your help

  • No, not without pasting the history in.  This would be a nice feature though, I would suggest it at www.skypefeedback.com.

  • Hi rholup,

    Yes, agree with Anthony.

It’s by design that the new user add into group conversation can’t see the conversation history before, he/she could only see the conversation history after joining the group conversation.

You provided the feedback in the link provided by Anthony, we will collect all your feedbacks and improve our product.

Moreover, you could also post in Lync SDK forum.

There are more Lync SDK experts will help you to achieve this goal.

    Thank you for your understanding.
