Enable Lync for AD user account RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I am having, Exchnage 2010 and LYnc 201 in my setup.

    Is it possible to enable LYNC 2010 for an AD user account, where for that user mailbox is not required.>?>??

  • Hi,

    Yes , you can enable an AD account for Lync without mailbox. It's not mandatory to have mailbox for Lync user. However , free busy integration and conversation history will make use of exchange mailbox.
