Windows 10 Enterprise Activation Issue RRS feed

  • Getting below error in Win 10 Enterprise after updating windows from Win 7 Enterprise. User is having M365 Business license.

    Please check and help.

    Error:  "We can not activate Windows on this device as we can't connect to your organization's activation server. Make sure that you are connected to your organizations network and try again. If you continue to having activation issue, contact support team. Error code: 0xC004F074"

  • You could run the System File Chechker tool and then try to activate it again.

    CMD>sfc /scannow

    CMD>slmgr /ato

  • Hi,

    What's the type of your product key? MAK or KMS?

    If you are using KMS, did you set up KMS server in your environment?

    Make sure every client could communicate with KMS server, we could ping the server to check. Make sure the time on server and clients are sync correctly.

    Please check the event viewer\application logs on client side.

    Also please run command line "slmgr /ato" as administrator to check if it is available to activate again, and run "slmgr /dlv" for more activation details.
