Finding number of users on Lync/OCS Pool RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

    We are running OCS 2007 R2 and Lync 2010. OCS has 3 Pool and Lync has 1.

    I'd like to be able to pull a report showing how many users there are on each Pool.

    Is this possible?

  • You can use powershell

    Get-CsUser -Filter {RegistrarPool -eq "PoolFqdn"}

  • Excellent! Is there a way to find out how many users per FE server?

    Also, I assume this is not possible on OCS? Only Lync?

  • you have to use the below command in Lync\Skype Management Shell to get the number of users in a pool.

    (Get-CsUser -Filter {RegistrarPool -eq "PoolFQDN"}).count
