Styles Not available on ribbon for Enhanced rich text field RRS feed

  • Question

  • This is a SharePoint 'classic' site collection.  When formatting text in an Enhanced rich text (multiline) fields, the Styles options f on the ribbon show "Not available", with no option available to select.

    1. This happens in all browsers
    2. I get a few javascript errors in developer tools to track down (below).  They sound mean but I'm not convinced these are at fault.
    3. I don't have rights on the tenant to submit a ticket or view health.  The admin is out for the week and they're looking for someone with those rights.

    1. For this first message I've played around with meta tags on my master page but haven't been able to make a dent in this error.
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Security-Policy" content="script-src 'self' https://*">  no change.
I don't know if this is the cause but it appears this can't improved by anything I do.

    suiteux.shell.header.44ab45f52e2548458111.js:11 Refused to load the script 'https://r4.res.office365.com/footprint/v2.9/scripts/fp.js' because it violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "script-src 'self' https://contentstorage.osi.office.net https://swx.cdn.skype.com https://res.delve.office.com https://lpcres.delve.office.com https://static.sharepointonline.com https://widget.uservoice.com https://by2.uservoice.com https://www.bing.com/api/maps/ https://www.bing.com/rms/ https://spoprod-a.akamaihd.net https://fabriciss.azureedge.net https://publiccdn.sharepointonline.com https://ajax.aspnetcdn.com https://spoprod-a.akamaihd.net/files/odsp-next-prod_2019-09-20-sts_20191001.001/ https://r1.res.office365.com https://webshell.suite.office.com https://shellux.msocdn.com https://shellprod.msocdn.com https://shellppe.msocdn.com https://mem.gfx.ms https://amcdn.msftauth.net https://shellprod.msocdn.com https://c1-excel-15.cdn.office.net https://c1-onenote-15.cdn.office.net https://c1-powerpoint-15.cdn.office.net https://c1-visio-15.cdn.office.net https://c1-word-view-15.cdn.office.net 'unsafe-eval' 'nonce-d79f6743-021f-4d2e-ab55-9ef77f03fa60'". Note that 'script-src-elem' was not explicitly set, so 'script-src' is used as a fallback.

    2. From what I can tell from googling this one can be ignored.  The corev15.css file hasn't been changed in over a year.

Exception while trying to access stylesheet rules: SecurityError: Failed to read the 'cssRules' property from 'CSSStyleSheet': Cannot access rules

I'd be grateful for any advice you have.  Thanks.
