Multi Factor Authentication causing sign in issues for Outlook 2016 RRS feed

  • We have a number of our users who work from home and when they do the multifactor authentication seems to cause problems,

    The prompt sometimes does not load correctly and users will either experience a blank screen, or receive an error CORRELATION ID NEU#5f50ea4f-85cf-49fd-b575-73b23463674c

    The multi factor authentication appears to work without any issues when they're signing into the web version of outlook

  • Have you confirmed they are actually seeing the ADAL prompt, as in make sure that ADAL is not disabled client-side. Apart from this, make sure they have the latest build and have them clear any stored credentials under cred manager. Running SaRA might also help detect some issue: https://diagnostics.outlook.com/
