Visio Content Type in SPO RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    Help, please.

We have a customer who manages his documents by hand. Now we're planning to migrate his documents to SPO and one of his requirements is creating documents in Visio. In other words, he needs a Visio Content-Type. They already have created a Visio template and define a set of columns.

    Questions:

    1) Is this possible? If so, how?
    2) Assuming that a Visio Content-Type is possible in SPO, can I include it in a Document Set?

    Thanks in advanced.

  • Hi efebo,

Yes, it is possible, you can create visio content type.

Refer to the following article about configuring SharePoint library to store visio documents step by step:

    http://unmanagedvisio.com/configuring-sharepoint-library-to-store-visio-documents/

You can include it in a Document Set.

If there is any problem, feel free to let me know.
