  • Hi,

Here are all limit about the size of email:

    1. Organization and mailbox level:  Message size limits in Exchange Server

    2. Protocol level: Configure client-specific message size limits

Since this phenomenon doesn't occur on OWA and Android, I think it is caused by protocol level. Apple device used EWS, so, have a check about the limit on EWS in your organization.

  • Hi Kyle,

    Thanks for the reply !

As Apple device uses EWS, Default value in EWS are 67108864 Bytes = 64 MB

Users are trying to send the attachment with sizes of 25MB.

Still not clear why Apple devices are not working fine with large size attachments.

Appreciate if you can suggest other solution if any

    Thanks

  • Hi Mohammed Arifuddin,

    >>Users are trying to send the attachment with sizes of 25MB.

Do you mean that users cannot send an email with 25 MB attachment from Apple client?

What is the detail information about this error? Which is the correct scene:

    1. Cannot upload attachment.

    2. Could upload attachment but cannot sent out.

    3. Could sent out, but receive a NDR message soon after.

    Regards,

    Kyle Xu

  • Hi Mohammed Arifuddin,

25 MB is limited by Outlook for mobile which may cannot be changed.

    Here are my testing:

Try to add an attachment(52MB) for Android build-in mail app and Outlook for android. However, I get the different result, one of them is should less 50 MB, the other one should less than 25 MB:

They are using the same protocol, but get the different limitation. I think this phenomenon is caused by Outlook itself.

    Regards,

    Kyle Xu
