Unzip files in sharepoint online RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm looking for an online sharepoint application to unzip files.
I found an app called Tru copy paste, but it adds more options I don't need, I just need to unzip.

    Could someone please recommend one?

Greetings and thank you very much.

  • Hi,

There is no OOB way to unzip the file in SharePoint online.

If you want to unzip file in SharePoint online, you need to use the custom solution.

Besides, you can use the third-part app to achieve it.

This is a reference about SharePoint Bulk Zip & Unzip.

While Microsoft supports and encourages open-source software development, it does not provide technical support for the software from third parties, nor does it guarantee that the software will work as described.

If you don't want to buy it, you need to write code by yourself.

  • Hi _ana_,

You need to unzip files directly on the Document library or ZIP your files and downloaded?

If you need to ZIP files, please I recommend this App Zip It - Light

It works fine for me, thanks.

    Best regards.

  • Hi Eduardo,

I need to unzip directly in the documentation library, so the application you're telling me won't work for me.

Thanks a lot anyway for the help.

    Best regards.
