Can anyone tell me what IP addresses MS uses to connect to their MS Easy assist support? RRS feed

  • We have our sharepoint farm behind a firewall and internet is shut down to it.  We want their support people to access it on demand with easy assist.  We need a subnet or static IP or something to open up live meeting to it so we don't have to open up the whole thing.

  • Would you please follow the steps below to create and join the session, it doesn't need Live Meeting opening up, and easy to start a new session even without "static IP".(It's not possible join the session with static IP address.)

    1. Install both Easy Assist and Launchpad on your computer.

    2. Launch the "Launchpad”, input the URL of Easy Assist website, Username and Password.

      e.g.  URL: https://www.livemeeting.com/cc/forumssupport  Username: easyassist Password: easyassist.

    3. Test the connection, and then click "OK".

    4. Once login succeed, right click the icon located in taskbar at left-bottom corner of the screen. Click "Create a new session", after then pop-up a box allow you invite attendees to join in by send a link.

    5. Once attendees receive the link, just open it join the session immediately, up to now the session was created and joining attendees successful.
