How to improve quality education in post war public primary schools in Uganda RRS feed

  • For the last 40 to 50 years Uganda had been at civil war; beginning from 1971 to about 10 years ago; particularly, Northern Uganda; leaving most of the schools within th e region devastated, within majority of the children studying in, are those of the common. And this has been so, because of two reasons, 1) government policy that calls for privatization of education; and 2) community disintegrating from schools during the war; according to the research conducted by our organization in 2015/16.

    Through our organization: we have developed a program in the name of community integration; that is, enabling us to address such problem; because, the program brings all sorts of members together to decide on the fate of their schools; and this has work out well Apedi and Angic primary in Kole district
