How to import PST files to MSOL? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've several other post saying that the importing of PST files up to MSOL was possible, but I cannot figure out how to accomplish it. We have a bunch of users with local PST files on their PC's that need to be uploaded to MSOL.

  • After activating the user in BPOS and configuring the sign-in application on his PC:

    - Open outlook from the sign-in application
    - Form outlook's file menu, choose "import and export"
    - Choose "Import from another program or file"
    - Choose "Personal folder file (.pst)"
    - Browse to the PST file on the user's PC
    - Choose "Import items in the same folder in"
    - Make sure "Mailbox - username" is selected
    - Click "Finish"

The pst file will be imported into the mailbox on BPOS
