Welcome to the SharePoint group: . . .Question

What have I done to create the second link in the welcome to the group email message? I do not want users to see other members of the group. Here is an example:

Welcome to the 'Viewers' SharePoint group. has added you to the 'Viewers' group for this SharePoint site. Group description: Members of this group can view pages, list items, and documents. If the document has a server rendering available, they can only view the document using the server rendering. As a member of this SharePoint group, you can:

* Participate in the SharePoint site at: http://xxx.xxxx./sites/xxxx

* View the group home page at: http://xxx.xxxx./sites/xxxx/_layouts/people.aspx?MembershipGroupId=3

When you create a group you have two option to set who can view the membership of the group?"
'Group Members' and 'Everyone'. There are two option you have

1. to customize the welcome message that does not provide the 2nd link

2. Change the permission for the permission level that you applied to the group to deny access to application pages.
