Event ID 7036

    Question

  • I have to restart Windows Explorer about every 30 minutes and the event log shows this Event ID 7036  and the Source being Service Control Manager. This has been going on for weeks but having to restart my Windows Explorer this frequently is new. I have to restart WE more frequently every day.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thx,

    Ned

  • Please post a copy of the report. A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and double click on the error you want to copy. Click on the Copy button on the General tab to place a copy on your Clipboard and close Event Viewer. Now start your message and paste into the body of the message. Make sure this is the first paste after exiting from Event Viewer.

    Hope this helps, Gerry
