Group conversation too large RRS feed

  • Question

  • So I wanted to see if anyone was familiar with this issue, or possibly knows of a fix for it.  We have a number of client PCs that have Lync 2010 installed, and we have been using distribution groups for starting group conversations.  The problem that we are experiencing however is large distribution groups when we try to send a message to them quite a few of the intended recipients don't get the message.  They get the pop up box as if a message should have come through, but it doesn't make it to them.  It also seems like it's alphabetical.  A-G might get the message, but anyone after G won't get it.  This equates to maybe 30-40 getting it, but everyone after that doesn't.  Any help would be appreciated.  I found one similar thread where it was stated that it might be a bug, but I wanted to get confirmation.

  • There are some known issues around this because of how Lync sends out invites to IM conferences and how this interacts with an internal timer. Look at the following KB to see if it is the same issue.
