Query mailboxes using MAPI/CDO library to send email RRS feed

  • Question

  • In the process of migrating to Exchange 2016. Is there any way to find out which application mailbox might be using MAPI/CDO library to send email?

    Thanks

  • Hi,

Could you please provide more information about how did you use MAPI/CDO to send mails?

Have you tried to get more information about the connection activity by checking Connectivity logging in Exchange Server

Connectivity logging records the outbound connection activity that's used to transmit messages on Exchange servers.

  • Consider this is unlikely - 3rd applications usually working with IMAP/SMTP.
