OneNote on Sharepoint (on premise) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

i am trying to store a OneNote notebook to a Sharepoint 2013 document library.

I did setup the library with the default content type "OneNote" and created a notebook direct from the library ribbon menu.

The notebook was successfully created, but i always get an error from the OneNote-App when opening the notebook, that the location could not be openend.

After confirming the alert, the notebook still opens in OneNote and i can add new sections. These will also be created on the doc-library.

But i cannot rename the name of the sections.

After some diggin, i used Fiddler to watch the responses from SharePoint:

Why do i get an authorization error ?

Does the OneNote-app pass the windows authentication, like the Internet-Explorer ?

Do i have to change something on the IIS ?

  • Hi,

    Do you solve this issue?

Which the version of the OneNote did you use?

Please try to add new section and check if it works.

    Best Regards,

    Dennis
