  • Hi,

Before you perform this demo upgrade run the preupgradcheck comment in stsadm.

    STSADM.EXE -o preupgradecheck

    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc262231(v=office.14).aspx

Use the report to find and troubleshoot issues. You can also share the relevant results with other members of the upgrade team. For example, you can report issues such as customized site templates or custom Web Parts to the appropriate site owner, Web designer, or developer before scheduling the upgrade, to give them time to resolve the issues.

  • Hi,

According to your post, my understanding is that you got the error Message when upgrade SharePoint form 2010 to 2013.

We can change the settings in Central Administration to anonymously update the SharePoint. There is a trick here for this to work you have to: Navigate through the following and turn the security validation Off:  Central Administration--->application management---->web application settings-->"turn security validation off"

Other possible ways you can try:

    1. Changing authentication provider in Central Administration

Central Administration > Application Management > Authentication Providers

    Select “Zone”

    Check “Enable Anonymous Access”

    2. Turn off Web Page Security Validation in Central Administration

Central Administration > Application Management > Web Application General Settings

Select the option Off in Web Page Security Validation

    More information:

Test and troubleshoot an upgrade to SharePoint 2013: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff382642.aspx

The security validation for this page is invalid. Click Back in your Web browser, refresh the page, and try your operation again: http://sampathnarsingam.blogspot.in/2013/04/the-security-validation-for-this-page.html
