  • Until Skype for Business Server goes RTM (Apr 2015), the official bits are not available except to TAP participants. Nevertheless, you can already test drive the Skype for Business Preview desktop client today:

    Hope this helps. Thanks.

  • Hi,

There is no Skype for Business Server version published by Microsoft so far, you can check the update with the following link:

    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/office/dn788954.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

As Desmond Lee said above, you can now download the Skype for Business client to have a try. Note: please update Lync Server 2013 update to the latest version firstly, and then modify the Lync client policy "EnableSkypeUI", set to True.

    Best Regards,

But if you like to know the pre-requisites and steps you may refer
