Can anybody throw a bit of advice on this?  I'm running a clean install of Windows Server 2003 R2 fully patched and MOSS 2007 also fully patched.  I'm trying to clean out all the error events and find their cause.  I'm slowly but surely getting them but this one is throwing me for a loop.

PS - Microsoft I love your products and I think sharepoint is great but sharepoint is the worst installation I've ever had.

  • I am having this same problem as well. It happened after installing the patches from KB934525 & KB937832. I have an open case with Microsoft & will post back when/if I get an answer.

  • That worked perfect for me.  Thanks a lot Damir.

For all curious parties, I used option 4 on the site that Damir linked to and it solved my problem.

  • I followed the steps in option# 4 as well and that seemed to fix the problem.

  • Hi Damir,

I haven't installed KB934525 as yet still getting same errors as codehulk once did. The service doesn't start though it is set to start automatically. However I am able to start it manually from Services MMC. WOuld you suggest me as well to go for option 4?

  • Damir's post is from the fall/autumn of *2007*.

Rather than expect to get hold of him now, don't post a reply in such an old, dead thread but start your own new thread with your own Title. After such a time gap you are probably running a completely different version of MOSS in any case.
