Outlook 2010 beta moved the send/receive button to it's own ribbon, an inconvience. While it can be added to the quick links, this also is inconveniently located. I tried adding the command to the home ribbon, went through a complex dialog box to do that, only to finally get an error message that you cannot, it can only be added to a "custom tab", missing the point entirely. Bottom line, please put a send/receive button in a quickly accessed location on the home tab, say in the "respond" area. Thank you.
Why not use F9 instead of the mouse or set outlook to check every 5 - 8 minutes? The QAT has the Send/Receive button in the first position if you need to use a mouse. (Don't set outlook to check any less than every 5 minutes.)
