importing contact info from outlook 2010 to outlook 2013 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a new laptop with Windows 8 pre-installed.  I have also installed Office 2013, including Outlook 2013.  I copied the contents of my old hard drive, from the old computer, to a folder on the desktop of the new computer.  All the old Outlook 2010 info should be there.

I want to import my outlook contacts and messages (if possible) from Outlook 2010 to the new Outlook 2013 from Outlook 2010 data, which should be on the folder on my desktop in the new computer.

    Hope you can help

  • If you stored all of messages, calendars, contact in PST file previous, you can watch the following video to import all data into Outlook 2013.

By default, we can from the PST file from the path C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\

If you are using server-based type ost, like Exchange account, you needn't import the data and all things would sync to your new machine after setuping your account in Outlook 2013
