Issue in version after migrating Document set RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Team

We have been migrating few document sets from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint Online, and observed that their version changes randomly each time we migrate it.

However versions of the documents inside the document set remains intact, but version of the content type Document set changes after migration through Sharegate.

As per sharegate team it is not an official limitation

So is it SharePoint online limitation?

as when we are migrating same document set in SP 2013 the version is retained.

     Below is one example

    Thanks in advance
