  • Hi

    If you’re using classic view ‘Edit properties’ command, override the JS script.

    <script type="text/javascript">
            SP.SOD.executeOrDelayUntilScriptLoaded(CustomJS, 'Core.js');
            function CustomJS() {
                var _OOBEditItemWithCheckoutAlert = window._EditItemWithCheckoutAlert;
                window._EditItemWithCheckoutAlert = function (c, a, b, d, g, h, f, e) {
                    alert('to do');
                    if (CheckoutAlertBeforeNavigate(a, b, d, g, h, f, e))
                        if (b == "1" && UseDialogsForFormsPages(a))
                            NewOrEditV4Core(c, a, true);
                        else
                            _EditItem2(c, a);
                }
            }
        </script>

    Best Regards,
