If i create a shared workbook in Excel 2010 on a network share where the NTFS permissions are set to everyone has full controll and then open the workbook on another PC and try and save, it will not save and then give an access violation error.I have disabled
the AV and also installed KB2345338.If i turn compatibility mode off, the shared workbook can be saved OK.However this is not a solution as a lot of documents are Office2003 files.
unfortunately I have already disabled the AV solution on the desktops to check for this.to recap, the client is a Windows 7 machine with Office 2010 installed, a shared workbook will either have a sharing violation or it will say you are no longer connected
to the file.another user may have removed it.This only happens in compatability mode.
