New hear but not new to Outlook 2010, used the Beta now the real thing, like it very much.
Now the problem, all of a sudden there are parts on my ribbon grayed out. When I go to a reply to a e-mail the basic text section is grayed out. I have not changed any of the settings since I installed it, this just seemed to happen when I started it up
the other day. Every thing else seems to be as it is suppose to be. I have checked the settings, (as to what might have to do with this) and everything seems to be as I set it. Just that one section is affected.

Please test this issue
in safe mode.
Start, point to All Programs, and then point to
Microsoft Office.Press and hold the
CTRL key, and then click Microsoft Outlook.If the problem does not occur in the safe mode, this issue might be related to some third-party add-ins in the Office program, we can try to disable them.
Normally, you could do the following to disable the conflict add-ins in your Office program:
File menu, click Options >Add-in, click Go button in the Manage:
b.Check if there are any add-ins,
clear the checkbox to disable them.
c.Close the Office program and
d.Add one check back each time to the list of Add-In,
restart the Office program, and repeat the above procedure. Once the issue reappears again, we can determine which add-in causes this problem and then disable it.
