Outlook Email Accounts RRS feed

  • I have several email accounts that all go to Outlook.  Recently an account that comes through GoDaddy.com no longer works (I get prompted every 5 minutes for a username and password and it does not accept it).  I was told this is because of some Microsoft update....anyone know how to fix this?

  • That is hard to say if you don't give any specific information about your configuration.

    Which version of Outlook are you using?
    Which mail account type are you using?
    Where did you get the original advise and which update would that be?
    When did you install that update and when exactly did you start getting the error message?
    Can you still login with that username and password to the web based version of your mailbox provided by GoDaddy?

    Have you tried removing and re-adding the account already?
